Dear Pine Community

I can’t express in words the excitement that I have been named the Principal of Pine Intermediate School.  With over 20 years experience as an Ohio Public School Administrator,  I believe that leadership in the 21st Century should impact the journey of our young learners, our educators, our families and ultimately our community.  

I pride myself on being able to work with students of all ability levels.  My Principalship requires being skilled at analyzing and interpreting data to assure that every child has a pathway to success. My responsibility as an Educational Leader is to establish a culture of learning.  Lifelong Learning becomes our work! Instilling a growth mindset within our school where nothing is impossible,  it's what we believe and do!

Having the opportunity to see first hand the resilience, development, progress and hard work of our students and faculty during the Pandemic, has been some of the most rewarding work I have ever experienced in all my years in education. We all grew from this experience!  As we continue to move forward into the 21st Century our focus at Pine Intermediate School will be to prepare and develop our children, to be able to work collaboratively with one another. 

The key to collaborative work is preparing our students to communicate with one another as they solve problems together.
