North Olmsted city Schools uses Sodexo to provide food service.
We are pleased to inform you that North Olmsted City Schools has qualified for and will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program for the 2024-2025 school year. This means that all North Olmsted students (K-12) are eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch at school for each day of the 2024-2025 school year.
More information about the CEP Program can be found here.
The free meals will not apply to a la carte items (second entrees, smoothies, ice cream, sodas, juices, water etc.) and snacks (chips, cookies, crackers etc.). These items will still need to be purchased.
In order to receive the free breakfast or lunch, students need to take the entire meal which includes ½ cup fruit or vegetable. The CEP program does not provide free milk to those who pack their meals.
Families do not need to do anything to receive these free meals. Your student will be able to participate in the CEP program without having to pay a fee or submit an application. This is a year to year program and district participation for future years will be determined at the end of this school year based on relevant district data.
