Please come to the North Olmsted High School cafeteria on Tuesday, March 20th, from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for a community conversation on keeping our schools safe.
Several weeks ago Superintendent Dr. Michael Zalar sent a letter to all of our families and staff members on the serious issue of keeping our children and staff safe while they are in school. That letter is attached, along with our district Safety Brochure.
School safety is a community issue. The district has plans, ALICE training, security cameras, radios and student programs in place to provide the safest possible environment each day. But no amount of planning can explain the senseless and violent actions of people determined to do harm.
Let's come together as a community and have an honest conversation about how we can all work together on keeping our schools safe.
